Panama: Scholarships to students of Spain, Korea, Chile & Mexico

Panama launched the first call for scholarships of the program of international student mobility, an initiative that seeks to promote the mobility of students through the Exchange, this as part of the National Plan of cooperation "Panama cooperates".

It is a program that starts up the country, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as a provider country cooperation, which will provide 30 scholarships for university students in Spain (10), Korea (10), Chile (5), and Mexico (5) they can perform a semester of studies in Panama with benefits that include the exemption of tuition, airfare, lodging, economic stipend for food and transportation cost.

Eligible students who pursue the fourth semester of universities with existing agreements with the University of Panama, the technological University of Panama, specialized University of the Americas and the Maritime University of Panama.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that these countries offer full scholarships annually for nationals of Panama in bachelors, masters, doctorate and research studies.

Stakeholders must enter to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (www.mire.gob.pa) for details of the requirements and the information for application. Registrations are open until January 30, 2018.
