Copa Airlines was recognized for the eleventh time as the “Most Punctual Airline in Latin America” by Cirium, a firm specializing in the analysis and collection of data for the airline industry.
According to the report titled “On-Time Performance 2025,” Copa achieved an on-time performance rate of 90.75%, the highest of all airlines in the Americas and the second best in the world, even surpassing the percentage recorded in the global ranking category.
In addition to the on-time performance ranking, the “On-Time Performance 2025” report also evaluated the on-time performance and cancellation rates of the world’s leading airlines. In these indicators, Copa Airlines achieved a schedule compliance rate of 99.80%, ranking as the airline with the lowest cancellation rate on the continent and one of the best in the world.

During 2025, Copa Airlines maintained its regional leadership in punctuality, operating a reliable network to more than 85 destinations in 32 countries across the Americas, including new routes to San Diego, Salta, Tucumán, and Los Cabos.
The Cirium ranking evaluates the performance of major airlines based on the number of seats, flights, and seat kilometer availability, categorizing them as “global” and “regional,” assessing their performance based on the number of seats, flights, and seat kilometer availability.
This ranking is based on data obtained from more than 2,000 international real-time flight sources, encompassing airlines, airports, global distribution systems, location information, and civil aviation authorities.
This recognition adds to the awards received by Copa Airlines in 2025, including “Best Airline in Central America and the Caribbean” for the tenth consecutive year and “Best Staff Service in Central America and the Caribbean,” awarded by Skytrax; the APEX Four-Star Airline distinction for 2025; and recognition as an Honoree at the 2025 Webby Awards for the Copa Airlines App in the Apps & Software – Travel category.
