88% of users accessed online casinos through their cell phones

Betway, a global sports betting and online gaming operator, conducted a study on online casinos and warned that, so far in 2023, more than 88% of users in Mexico, Panama, Ecuador and Costa Rica access these platforms through of their cell phones.

In a statement, the company detailed that, in Mexico, 62% of users play Online Slots, 50% more than traditional table games such as Poker or Black Jack, and 58% more than Bingo titles.

In the cases of Panama, Ecuador and Costa Rica, they indicated that these figures “are more closed.” In Panama, 35% of users use an application to access Online Slots, while 33% use it to play traditional table titles.
